What an incredible weekend at San Diego Comic Con 2018! After our biggest convention of the year, The Alex Ross Art team is making our way back to the warehouse, fulfilling online orders, and resting up to prepare for an eventful end to summer.
In case you missed it, here's a look at some of the most exciting moments of SDCC 2018.
The Glass Movie Poster Reveal
In one of the biggest announcements of SDCC 2018, Universal Studios and M. Night Shyamalan unveiled the brand new poster for GLASS, the highly-anticipated sequel to Unbreakable. The poster features Samuel L. Jackson at the center of shattering glass.
Fans received a free poster with badge scan, and online customers received a free poster with any order placed on Saturday and Sunday during the Con.
Unveiling Four New Marvelocity Covers
Marvelocity is the new Marvel retrospective art book from Alex Ross and Chip Kidd, coming October 2 from Pantheon Books.
Fifteen years after his Eisner Award-winning Mythology, Ross will release its long-awaited Marvel Comics counterpart. Marvelocity is a retrospective celebration of characters including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, the Avengers, the X-Men, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Fantastic Four.
This year at SDCC, Alex Ross Art unveiled four new variant covers, including:
Spider-Man
Doctor Strange
Storm
Spider-Woman
Additionally, at SDCC, Alex Ross Art opened pre-orders for Marvelocity: The Alex Ross Art edition. This edition features a special Fantastic Four wraparound cover:
A Visit from Patty Jenkins
One of the highlights of our experience at Booth #2415 was a visit from none other than Patty Jenkins, director of the latest Wonder Woman films starring Gal Gadot. It was an honor and a pleasure to catch up with her at the Alex Ross Art booth!

This year, Alex Ross has kicked off a new partnership with Key Collector Comics. The Key Collector Comics App is for comic lovers, enthusiasts, and collectors ' it's a database that tracks the availability and value of key issue comics.

One thing we LOVE about SDCC all the amazing cosplay, and we saw some incredible costumes at Booth #2415. From Wonder Woman to the Joker, and many more, here's a look at a few favorites from SDCC cosplay:
SDCC Exclusives & Premieres
Of course... who can forget the SDCC Exclusives? This year, Alex Ross Art unveiled four exclusive art prints, two new sketchbooks, and dozens of rare SIGNED comics. Plus, we premiered new prints and canvases at Booth #2415 and online.
Online quantities sold out quickly, with a few reserves left. Keep an eye out for SDCC 2018 Exclusives, which could resurface throughout 2018 in very limited quantities.
