7/16/2012   ROSS COVERS STAR WARS

In one of the biggest announcements from the 2012 San Diego Comic Con, Dark Horse announced that they will debut a new ongoing Star Wars comic set in the original trilogy timeline starting in January. The new book will be written by Brian Wood (DMZ, Channel Zero, Northlanders, The Massive), and interior artwork will be provided by Carlos D'Anda (who designed characters for the video games Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City).

This is big news in and of itself but the biggest reason we post it here at AlexRossArt.com is our own Alex Ross will provide a massive cover for issue #1 and is slated to provide four covers in total for the new series. Fans of the Star Wars universe have long awaited an Alex Ross take on its characters and at long last, we are going to get it!
